About Angeliki

Angeliki’s training on the path of Yoga began in 2005 and exceeds 800 hours (RYT® 500, E-RYT® 200, YACEP®). She is the first authorized Rocket Vinyasa Yoga teacher in Greece by David C. Kyle and in 2014 she founded Rocket Yoga Athens as an effort to create the current of Rocket Yoga in her country. In September 2018, she opened her own Yoga studio, the Pratyahara Yoga Center in Agia Paraskevi, where Rocket Yoga Athens is now the permanent headquarters. There, in addition to the daily practices of various styles of Yoga (Hatha, Rocket Vinyasa, Restorative, Prenatal, etc.), Reiki sessions, Thai Massage and teacher trainings take place. In 2020 he came into contact with Reiki and by deepening he became a Reiki Master.
In January 2011, she attended Atmanasana Yoga studio, her first 200-hour teacher training program on Hatha Yoga and immediately began teaching successfully, as she was already teaching physical theater and acrobatics to actors and performers. Her need to delve deeper into Yoga led her to Mysore, India in July 2012, where she received her second degree by attending the 300-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher’s Training at Yoga Darshanam School. Two years later as she got involved with more dynamic practices, in July 2014, she traveled to Barcelona to attend a training course on Ashtanga Vinyasa 1st series & Rocket Vinyasa. with David C. Kyle. Then, in September 2015, she attended an Ashtanga Vinyasa 2nd series training program in Athens with teacher Manju P. Jois, son of the founder of Ashtanga Vinyasa, S. Pattabhi Jois. In March 2016 she returned to Barcelona to complete her first level of teaching and certification in Rocket Vinyasa Yoga from David C.Kyle. In September 2016, she attended again in Athens another educational program on Ashtanga Vinyasa 1st series with teacher Manju P. Jois and finally in July 2017 at the Rocket Teacher Training held in Athens, she was her teacher’s assistant, and was certified by him (David C. Kyle) as a Senior Rocket Yoga Teacher thus getting the license to teach educational programs on Rocket Vinyasa as well.

In February 2019, she was lucky enough to be next to one of the greatest living Yoga teachers of our century, Dharma Mittra, and to attend his teachings for three days in London. She was taught philosophy of Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Partner Yoga, Kryias & Mudras by Santhosh Kumar, anatomy by Vaso Kalaboukas, theory by Michalis Filini. She studied with Savva Yantsi, attended 3 Yoga for Pregnant-Yoga for children seminars and workshops with Laruga Glaser, Sianna Sherman, Sofia Xirotiri, Surinder Singh, etc. She is a certified RYT® 500, E-RYT® 200, YACEP® teacher from the Yoga Alliance and a member of the Greek Yoga Association. She teaches Rocket Vinyasa Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga for pregnant women & children. He has taught at festivals and Yoga days and has given lectures and seminars at various schools.

Earlier, Angeliki had completed a fifteen-year career in the performing arts and visual arts with valuable training in: decoration, design, classical and modern theatre, physical theatre, acrobatics, classical and contemporary dance, vocal, orthophony, percussion, contact improvisation, physical theatre, pantomime, puppet theatre, storytelling, theatrical clown, street theater techniques, acrobatics with hanging stilts, vertical dance, object manipulation, etc. powerful tools for her educational work.

She is a graduate of the School of Dramatic Art of Akis Davis, the School of Mime-Body Theater of Antonis Koutroubis – Plefsis and the Department of Decoration of IEK Domi. In addition to the position of actress – performer – dancer in a multitude of shows, she has directed and edited the movement in 4 shows. Finally, he has taken part in theater festivals in Greece and abroad (China, Bulgaria, Serbia, Cyprus, Italy, Epidaurus).
